We're a new Legend of Zelda Fan site that's been open for a little over a year. We're keeping up to date news on A Link Between Worlds, Zelda Wii U, and Wind Waker HD. We hope you will enjoy looking at our site and Zelda forums!
Aeipathy Industries (AI), a kickstarter account, put up a brand spanking new project up for backing today, and as of now it already has 8 backers, and has been pledged a total of $167 dollars toward completion of their project. The project is called “Zeldamotion – A Link to the Past Animated Series”.
Aeipathy Industries’ goal, is to recreate the entire Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Manga into a full blown animated series. More info after the jump.
There are 29 days left (as of 8/2/2012) to help Aeipathy Industries fund this project. They aim to raise $15,000 dollars to keep this project alive. AI’s members have a goal they would like to share with the world, they say:
“We are Aeipathy Industries, and we are here to talk to you about our most ambitious project to date, Zeldamotion! We finally made it to Kickstarter to ask the fans for help and tell you a bit more about our tribute to one of our all time favorite Legend of Zelda storylines, A Link to the Past.
Zeldamotion is our ongoing effort to convert the Akira Himekawa Legend of Zelda manga books into a fully animated, fully scored, and fully voiced animated series. This fan project was created for the purpose to provide current and future Zelda fans with a cost-free, ad-free, cinematic experience telling the stories we love and sharing them with those who may have missed out on them.”
Just like any kickstarter they are offering rewards to people that pledge money to their cause, the list is up on their kickstarter page, which will be linked to later in this article.
Their trailer video is here, and also on their page.
From what I have seen, this series is shaping up to be very nice, I just hope Nintendo doesn’t sue for infringement :/ YIKES!!! Personally, I am looking forward to seeing what this could turn out to be, I would pledge money, but unfortunately, I am broke… If you would like to fund this project, or just check out more info, just visit their page here.
