Today some new news from Nintendo has been revealed, it says that Nintendo has currently put an “A link to The Past” Remake, up against a “Majora’s Mask” Remake. Quotes and more come after the jump…
IGN posted an article up on their site today here. Richard, an IGN news reporter conducted an interview with Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Zelda, and got some juicy news. Richard said this is what Miyamoto Said: “We haven’t quite decided yet, whether we’re going to do A Link to the Past, because there’s also the possibility of doing a remake of Majora’s Mask,” Miyamoto told me in an interview at E3 last week. “This is something we’ve certainly been talking about and doing a little bit of experimenting with, to figure out which way we’re going to go.”
This means that there is about a 50/50 chance that we will see a Majora’s Mask remake, and a 50/50 chance that we will see a Link to The Past remake.
Personally, this is a REALLY hard decision for me, after playing Ocarina of Time 3D, I really want a majora’s Mask remake, especially since I am in the process of re-beating the original, but at the same time, Lttp is one of my all-time favorite zelda games, and I would LOVE it to be remade. It’s like I want both to be done, because I love both of these games so much… To Nintendo I would say, Tell Grezzo to remake MM, just like Ocarina of Time, and Remake Lttp yourselves! But then I would be mad at myself, because this means that a new Zelda Game wouldn’t be on the way… But now that I think about it, I might even love a Lttp remake AND a MM remake together, better than a new Zelda game… AT LEAST FOR NOW…

Hard decision… MM would be nice if Grezzo does it because all they have to do is change and include new models from OOT 3D to MM 3D. A new ALTTP… What are they gonna do? Just port it again? There’s nothing you can do unless you make it an bird’s eye view 3D, which is lame.
I was thinking like a full-blown (non-sprite based) Remake, with traditional controls, not like PH… I don’t wan’t just any old port of Lttp… I already have their weird minish cap port of it to the gameboy where link sounds like toon link and has blonde hair instead of pink (which I think is lame)… I would want a full remake, like the featured pic… Otherwise I still want MM3D, and a new game…
If I’m correct mine did… well maybe not the hair, but he did have a toon link voice when he swung the sword, rather than the normal SWOOSH, but I like the swoosh best, the toon link HIYA was annoying in aLTTP

My ALTTP didn’t have him with yellow hair and it was the same GBA version? o-o; Weirdddd…

I like the GBA version better. Better interface and I like how Link had a voice.
